Right of Withdrawal

1. Right of Withdrawal for Physical Products (Printed Book)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, an e-mail, or via the electronic withdrawal function on this website) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

If you use this online function, we will promptly send you a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal request on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail). This confirmation will include the content of your withdrawal request as well as the date and time of receipt.

You may use the sample withdrawal form provided below, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of Withdrawal (Physical Products)

If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by me), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which I receive notice of your withdrawal. I will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. I may withhold the reimbursement until I have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform me of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

3. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content (E-Book)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content (e.g. e-books) which is not supplied on a physical medium, if:

  • the download or digital delivery has begun before the end of the withdrawal period, and
  • you have expressly agreed that I begin fulfilling the contract before the withdrawal period ends, and
  • you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is provided.

You will be informed of this during the checkout process, and your explicit consent is required.
